Local Area

Ideally situated midway between Newark and Lincoln, there are a wealth of things to see and do.  In the immediate vicinity, there are some lovely walks from the door along the River Witham and Whisby Natural World is less than 3 miles away. A bit further on from Whisby, Doddington Hall and Gardens are well worth a visit and include a new shop and café.

Lincoln is an historic city with a 13th century Cathedral, a Castle and Roman walls. There are numerous historical buildings to visit, and of special interest is the area called Steep Hill with its quaint shops and narrow cobbled street. The city also benefits from a modern shopping centre and a variety of high street shops and restaurants.
